Marionberries are Known as the Cabernet of Blackberries for its complex, rich earthy flavor. Marionberries are known for their deep reddish purple color. Packed with hints of sweet and lively tartness, they are plump, and juicy and have less seeds than their counterparts. Marions are a cross between the Chehalem and Olallieberry blackberries. Marions capture the best attributes from both berries, an aromatic bouquet and an intense blackberry flavor. They Contain high levels of strong antioxidants such as Vitamin C, gallic acid and rutin that help promote circulatory health and fight against cancer. These berries are excellent in pies, jam, cobbler, ice cream, and smoothies. Marions are better to freeze than most blackberries due to them being able to hold their shape after thawing.
Boysenberries are a cross between a Logan, Raspberry, and a Pacific Blackberry. Boysenberries are a glossy, large, juicy berry with large seeds, and a deep maroon color. Triple Crown is a type of blackberry that is 3 times the size of a regular blackberry. This is a big, black, glossy, sweet, and juicy blackberry. Not as seedy as most blackberries. High in antioxidants. Triple Crown is great in pies, jam, smoothies, ice cream, & freezing.
